Do your friends and family keep asking, “What exactly are you studying again?” Then it’s time you show off your hard work at Spread the WoRD, the sixth annual WRD student conference.
Spread the WoRD provides undergraduate and graduate students with a forum for academic growth and professional development. As a student-run conference, students are given a low-stakes opportunity to gain experience presenting in a conference, while receiving feedback from peers and faculty. It’s also a great way to mingle and collaborate with fellow students working on innovative and exceptional projects.
To have your work considered for presentation, send us a short 300 word abstract of the presentation with title. Include your name, contact information, degree program and year of the presenter(s), as well as the form your presentation will take and what technological accommodations you’ll need. Submit your proposal to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 1, 2014. More information can be found at http://spreadthewrd.wordpress.com/present/.
